We are seeking an experienced Siding Subcontractor who can confidently run a crew and deliver high-quality exterior work. The ideal candidate has strong skills in rough framing, job-site coordination, and leading teams to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Compensation:$70,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a framing crew on active job sites
- Plan daily tasks and manage workflow to keep framing on schedule
- Ensure proper layout, cutting, and installation of all framing components (floors, walls, and roof systems)
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and structural details accurately
- Maintain job-site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and inspectors as needed
- Verify all framing meets code requirements, structural specifications, and quality standards
- Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial framing (floors, walls, and roof systems)
- Ability to run a framing crew independently and efficiently
- Strong understanding of structural framing methods, layout, and load paths
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, framing plans, and scopes of work
- Experience with material takeoffs and basic layout calculations
- Reliable transportation and a full set of framing tools
