POSITION SUMMARY:
The Alma College Department of Business Administration invites applications for an Instructor/Lecturer of Business Administration with a focus on Sports Management and Business Analytics. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2026. This position is for three years with the possibility of renewal. Teaching load will be 8 units per academic year.
The department's desire is for an experienced faculty colleague with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Teaching experience and/or professional experience in general business courses, business analytics, and sports management is required. Successful applicants are those who can teach sports management and other business courses, including data analytics. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Tableau, Canvas or other LMS is preferred.
A Ph.D. or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or related business fields is preferred. An all-but dissertation (ABD) or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with professional college-level teaching experience may be considered for the position.
