Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year A bit about us: The Sanitation Supervisor provides critical leadership in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the food production environment. This role oversees the sanitation team and ensures compliance with internal standards and external regulations (FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP). The supervisor will manage Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, sanitation protocols, chemical safety, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure a hygienic and efficient operation. Why join us?

- Oversee daily sanitation operations across production, warehouse, and equipment areas.
- Implement and monitor sanitation programs including Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), SSOPs, and cleaning verification protocols.
- Conduct daily inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage sanitation staffing, scheduling, and training—including refresher workshops and cross-training for shift coverage.
- Maintain chemical inventory and ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning agents in accordance with SDS and PPE guidelines.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to analyze environmental data and drive continuous improvement in sanitation practices.
- Coordinate third-party cleaning services (e.g., silo, overhead, building washes) and pest control programs.
- Author and update sanitation SOPs and training materials to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
- Support commissioning of new production lines and sanitation coverage for expansion projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sanitation management within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in sanitation management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production schedules.
- TWI Certification or equivalent sanitation training credentials.
- Experience with CIP systems and environmental pathogen monitoring.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
