Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a high school setting in Detroit, MI. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to work with pediatric populations within a school environment, supporting students' speech and language development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student assessments and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student needs
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students across diverse needs
