Pinecrest Animal Hospital has been part of the Owosso community since 1953. For decades, families have trusted us not only with routine care, but with the advanced surgeries and complex cases that other clinics send our way. That reputation is something we’re proud of and continue to build on every day.

We’re a busy practice with five exam rooms, a surgery suite with three tables, a dental suite, digital radiography, and a strong technician-to-doctor ratio. But at the heart of our hospital is Dr. Kenny Rangi. He’s carried on his father’s legacy here, growing Pinecrest into a practice known for high-quality medicine and strong community trust. What he needs now is a partner, someone to step in, share the leadership, and help shape the future of the hospital with him.

The Role: Dual Medical Director

We’re looking for a Medical Director who’s ready to step into a shared leadership role alongside Dr. Kenny. This is about building the future of Pinecrest together by balancing strong medicine, mentoring the next generation of doctors, and guiding the hospital forward as a team.

As a Dual Medical Director , you’ll share responsibility for setting hospital protocols, refining efficiency and flow, and ensuring our doctors and staff have the support they need. You’ll see a mix of surgery and appointments, with the ability to bring your own strengths and passions to the table.

This role is ideal for a doctor who is experienced, motivated by leadership, growth, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. For the right candidate, there’s also a path toward equity and practice partnership.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 with 21% production
• Sign-on Bonus: $20,000
• Retention Bonus: $5,000 at 1 Year
• Professional Growth: Annual CE allowance of $2,500, 3 days CE-specific paid time off, 1st year Dental CE Comp Package
• Generous Benefits Package: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance
• 4 weeks PTO + Holidays
• Licenses, dues, memberships covered in full
• 401(k) + 6% match on the first 3% you contribute, plus 50% match on the next 3%
• Saturdays: only one half-day per month, rotated among doctors

Saturdays mean farmers markets downtown, community festivals, and an annual county fair that’s a local favorite.
