A multinational company with an office in the Troy, MI area is currently seeking a Sr. Structural and Sheet Metal Designer for a direct hire opportunity with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for Sr. Designers with a solid HVAC background looking to bring fresh eyes to revise processes, and looking for a company with great benefits, bonuses, stability, and growth opportunities.

Sr. Structural and Sheet Metal Designer rates are anticipated to be salaried in the $90,000-$120,000/year range with competitive bonus opportunities. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of salary.

Qualified Sr. Structural and Sheet Metal Designer will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:

* 5+ years of recent / relevant experience with sheet metal design including structural support.

* Experience with industrial equipment including industrial HVAC, scrubber systems, oven/furnaces, and closely related is strongly preferred. Similar equipment will be considered in lieu.

* Solid design skills with Revit, Solidworks, Inventor, or closely related software skills are essential.

* Solid knowledge of balancing cost, fabrication, and site installation factors for improving processes with eliminating leaks and quality. Experience with technical calculations for air flow is a benefit.

* An Associate or BS degree is preferred, but not required. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

* Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including drug screen, background, E-Verify, etc.

The CNC Machinists hourly rates are anticipated to start between $25.50 to $34 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified CNC Machinists will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
• 2+ years CNC Machining experience, able to setup and operate.
• Able to read blueprints, understand GD&T, and shop math for tolerancing / offsets.
• Perform part inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Climate-controlled shop, short-run & prototype work on exotic materials.
• Open to training, development, and a relocation assistance package is provided.
• Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
