Facilities Manager | Charlotte, MI
Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
- Develop and manage facility budgets, including capital expenditures and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations.
- Manage external contractors and vendors for facility services, repairs, and projects.
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Plan and manage facility space utilization, expansions, and reconfigurations to support production needs.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures for the facility.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, budget oversight, and vendor negotiation.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and environmental compliance relevant to manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
- Familiarity with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and best practices specific to manufacturing.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated experience managing capital projects.
- Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
