A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in a busy retail pharmacy located on a major hospital campus in Kalamazoo, MI. This position offers the chance to engage in community-focused pharmacy services within a dynamic, high-volume setting that processes 600 to 700 prescriptions daily.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain optimal workflow
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety
- Uphold compliance with pharmaceutical laws and regulations, including controlled substances
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure exemplary patient care
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Michigan Pharmacist license
- Michigan Controlled Substance license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably retail
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location:
- Retail pharmacy situated on a prominent hospital campus in Kalamazoo, MI
