Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including invoices for raw materials and supplies.
• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of customer payments.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Process payroll, including related tax filings and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Assist with the preparation of basic financial statements (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and external audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, cost accounting principles, and COGS calculations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with preparing financial statements and reports.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., COGS, inventory valuation).
• Experience with inventory management and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
