Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain highly available server and virtualized infrastructure supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Administer and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, VPN) ensuring reliable connectivity for IT and OT systems.
• Implement, test, and manage robust data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical production data.
• Provide expert administration and support for manufacturing-specific applications such as ERP, MES, and SCADA systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex IT and OT issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage access controls for both IT and operational environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience supporting operational technology (OT) systems such as SCADA, MES, or industrial automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, firewalls, and industrial cybersecurity principles.
• Demonstrated experience with backup, disaster recovery, and ensuring high availability for critical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime in production environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Familiarity with industrial network protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and OT/IT convergence.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP, ISO 27001, NIST CSF) within a manufacturing context.
• Experience supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle EBS in a production environment.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT solutions, or predictive maintenance technologies.
