Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments or minor repairs.
• Load raw materials and unload finished or semi-finished components.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to maintain part quality and adherence to tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code programming, with ability to perform minor edits.
• Understanding of various tooling, inserts, and materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, plastics).

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience operating advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM).
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
