Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to conduct accurate dimensional and functional checks.
• Document inspection results thoroughly, create quality reports, and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action procedures as required.
• Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality discrepancies and improve manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role.
• Proficiency in using various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP) and quality control methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or vision inspection systems.
