Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

This position plays a critical role in restoring customer's personal property after fire, water, and smoke losses. As a Contents Technician, you will partner with Project Managers to lead and manage all aspects of contents restoration, including inventory, pack-out, cleaning, and return of customer's personal property. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality service during our customer's time of need.

Responsibilities
- Delight customers by providing outstanding customer service in their homes and businesses
- Keep vehicle clean, organized and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate daily with Project Managers
- Documentation/photos of pre-existing damage
- Pack, inventory, photograph, and document household and commercial contents
- Carefully move, load, and transport contents to and from job sites and storage facilities
- Clean, deodorize, and restore contents affected by fire, smoke, water, or mold
- Properly label, wrap, and store items using industry standards
- Perform pack-backs and reinstallation of contents once restoration is complete
- Complete accurate inventory records and job documentation
- Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and insurance guidelines
- Perform mitigation services to IICRC standards as needed
- Emergency On-Call rotation
- Perform contents responsibilities at our other locations as needed
Requirements
- Previous Contents experience required
- Previous Mitigation experience preferred (Water, Fire & Mold Remediation)
- Friendly, cooperative and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- Chauffeur's License and DOT Certification are a plus
- Ability to pass a drug screening & background check
- Ability to move or lift 50 lbs. or more
- IICRC certification is a plus, but not required
