Welding Maintenance Job Summary:

We are looking for a MIG welder and someone who can do support with maintenance on machines at one of the largest heat treating assembly company's in North America. Located in Wyoming, MI, this company is looking for someone who is a team player, dependable, reliable, hard-working, and has a great attendance record and references. Welding Maintenance Responsibilities:

• MIG welding (spot welding)

• Able to work on a fix the furnace baskets

• Running a small Press

• Completing paperwork and scanning parts

• Prepares work for processing, load and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.

• Responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage

• Ability to help with projects such as industrial cleaning and any other support.

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required, company works 7 days a week at times
• $22-26/HR

Welding Maintenance Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience MIG Welding
• Computer experience is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on an ongoing basis
• Willing to cross train into the furnace operator role
• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc
