Steel Receiving
Our company is seeking a dedicated full-time Steel Receiver to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of all grades of steel and associated defects. This role requires proficiency in using cutting torches and basic computer skills. The position offers a full-time schedule with an average of 45 to 50 hours per week. We pride ourselves on our competitive benefits package, including Medical and Dental insurance after 90 days and a 401k with employer match.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting steel coils
- Identifying and documenting steel grades and defects
- Operating cutting torches as part of the steel processing
- Utilizing computer systems for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of all grades of steel and associated defects
- Experience with using cutting torches
- Basic computer skills
