Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production overhead to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, incorporating production volumes and operational expenses.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on plant performance, product line profitability, and key manufacturing KPIs.
• Conduct capital expenditure analysis and ROI calculations for new equipment, facility upgrades, and automation projects.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and analyze inventory valuation.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify cost reduction initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze actual financial results against budget and forecast, providing variance explanations and insights.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in cost accounting principles, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Experience analyzing operational performance and identifying cost efficiencies within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with activity-based costing or advanced variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing-specific modules within major ERP systems (e.g., SAP PP/CO, Oracle Manufacturing).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial impact.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for operational reporting.
