What You’ll Do:

• As an Estimating Engineer, you will:

  • Research and estimate costs, production factors, and required resources for new designs, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to compile initial estimates for equipment, tooling, and processes.
  • Analyze blueprints, sketches, and specifications to calculate production costs using historical data and pricing schedules.
  • Provide budgetary and costing advice to project stakeholders.
  • Create detailed reports and formal quotations for management and clients.
  • Identify potential patent issues and support economic analysis.
  • Track actual project costs and assist in planning phases.
  • Lead small-scale projects with limited scope and duration.

What You Bring:

• One of the following:
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience
    • Associate’s degree + 4 years of experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent + 6 years of experience
  • Strong arithmetic and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables for data analysis)
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and cost optimization
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings

• Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP
