About the Role:
The Test Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of electronic products before they reach the market. This position involves conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting of circuit boards and electronic assemblies to identify any defects or performance issues. The technician will utilize various test equipment and tools to perform calibration and validation processes, ensuring that all products meet industry standards. Additionally, the role requires meticulous documentation of test results and collaboration with engineering teams to implement improvements. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on electronics or related field.
- Proven experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic devices.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and surface mount technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or a related field.
- Experience with oscilloscopes and other advanced test equipment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in electronics testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and assemblies using various test equipment.
- Calibrate and validate test fixtures and power supplies to ensure accurate measurements.
- Document test results and maintain detailed records of testing procedures and outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues found during testing.
- Utilize soldering techniques for repairs and modifications on circuit boards as necessary.
