Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Rapids, MI. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
• Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
• Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Read and understand Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions.
• Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
• Manual and automated underfill, bonding and staking.
• Touchup and application of conformal/Parylene coating.
• Participate/engage in team meetings.
• Work on windows-based programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Hours: 40hours/week.

Length: Contract (Temp to Direct)

Payrate: $19.00 - $21.00/hour

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Current certification to IPC A610 and JSTD 001 is but not necessary upon hire.
• Successful candidate will receive internal training as necessary and will be required to pass
• IPC A610 and JSTD 001 solder and rework certification tests.
• General knowledge of Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices would be helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with team
• members.
• Close attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
• Moderate computer skills, SAP experience
