Lab Tech
Lab Technician
Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $19-21/hr depending on experience
Location: Ada, MI (Greater Grand Rapids Area)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers, HPLC, and other analytical instruments
- Accurately document test results and maintain detailed lab records
- Assist with method validation, stability testing, and product evaluations
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and internal quality standards
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
- Communicate test results and findings to supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the lab
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience (internships or academic lab experience considered)
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP standards preferred
- Experience with analytical instrumentation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Manual dexterity for handling small lab components and samples
