Industrial Painter
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team in Bridgman, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to a variety of industrial surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications.
- Apply paint using various techniques, including spray, brush, and roller.
- Inspect finished work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Training in painting or coatings is a plus.
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
