Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes, including tooling and material loading.
• Monitor machine operations and make minor program adjustments (offsets, speeds, feeds).
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms or minor mechanical issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Complete accurate production and quality control documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Skilled in setting up tooling, offsets, and performing minor program edits (G-code).
• Competent in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks and troubleshoot machining issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for program interpretation.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills beyond daily operational checks.
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing or 5S environment.
