Salary Range: $71,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Oversee daily quality control activities, including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and generate performance reports.
• Facilitate training for quality personnel on new procedures, equipment, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors or technicians.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using various inspection methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing) or equivalent practical experience; ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher)
• Experience with specific quality management system (QMS) software or statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
• Internal or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949)
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques and tools
