PhD student or academic to spread the word about Google Scholar alternative
We've built a unique website that helps academics around the world get better programmatic access to scholarly literature at scale, and build tools on top of it: for extensive literature searches, AI-assisted offline analysis, plagiarism detection, etc. Like Google Scholar, it indexes large volumes of academic literature, but unlike GS, it offers programmatic access (API) and bulk download of millions of full-text papers and PDFs. The service can be used by scientists in their research projects, or by academic-oriented startup founders building new tools for R&D, AI, and academia. Details:
We need your help in spreading the word about this service in academic circles and beyond. It's as easy as posting on your LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter, sending a message to your university mailing lists, or posting in discussion groups. Templates will be provided. Local-language messaging is accepted and welcome.
The link you share will include your individual tracking token, so all payments made on the website by users you refer will be attributed to you, and whenever a purchase of API credits is made, you will earn a **40% commission** (max $200 per single purchase) for up to _12 months_ after the user's first visit to the website.
Additionally, you will earn an extra **$10** for every confirmed link share in a relevant place (up to 10).
You will have access to a dashboard where you can see live statistics on how many users clicked your link for the first time, created an account, and how much commission is due. Payouts will be made via PayPal or bank transfer. By doing this job, you will not only earn income, but also help academia access scholarly literature at scale, create new research tools, and maintain academic integrity through better plagiarism detection.
