Pay: $17/hr
Position Summary
The Assembler is responsible for building HVAC and air-handling components and systems according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing role with opportunities for training, skill development, and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble HVAC units, ductwork, panels, frames, and related components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, drills, and torque tools to complete assemblies.
- Read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Install insulation, hardware, motors, fans, and mechanical components as required.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure proper fit, function, and appearance.
- Report defects, shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors or quality staff.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
- Support team goals and assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
