Job Title: Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Team Lead for our 2nd shift, from 230pm to 10:30pm, with availability up to 12:30am and flexibility to work 6-7 days a week. This role involves supervising manufacturing operations, with a focus on assembly, electrical wiring, and ensuring adherence to work instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead manufacturing operations during the 2nd shift.
• Ensure all team members follow detailed work instructions, prints, and diagrams.
• Coordinate electrical wiring and assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
• Support and participate in labeling restricted work areas and designated walkways.
• Foster a culture of ownership and responsibility among team members.

Essential Skills

• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand on feet for 8-hour shifts.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Team Lead position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assembly and electrical components is a plus.

Work Environment

The work takes place in an extremely clean 5S manufacturing facility, where everything is organized, and even trash cans have designated areas. The environment is akin to a 'clean room,' requiring special shoe inserts to prevent static damage. The team is project-based, often requiring flexibility to meet deadlines, and consists of over 50 floor workers at any given time.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
