• Location: Warren, Michigan (48093) – Detroit metro area
• Healthcare Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center, Float Staffing (ED & ED Observation)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: August 26, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Contract Duration: 15 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 8 Hour Nights, float position (staffed every 4 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: Maximum 1:6
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1650 - $1690 per week, depending on experience.

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications
• Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills for effective patient care plans
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities within a healthcare environment

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department and Observation units
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to manage and document patient care
• Float between ED and ED Observation, adapting to dynamic patient needs
• Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
