Job Overview

As a Dental Lab Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating a range of dental restorations, from single tooth to full arch prosthetics. This hands-on role emphasizes technical fabrication skills, equipment maintenance, and finishing techniques. No design experience is required—we handle the design process separately.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technician specializing in Ceramic restorations to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality ceramic dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations, ensuring they meet precise specifications and aesthetic standards. Your expertise will contribute to restoring patients’ smiles and improving their oral health while collaborating closely with dentists and dental assistants. Responsibilities

• Fabricate ceramic dental restorations using advanced CAD/CAM technology and traditional laboratory techniques, ensuring accuracy and durability.
• Collaborate with dentists to interpret treatment plans, technical drawings, and patient-specific requirements for custom prosthetics.
• Apply aesthetic layering techniques to create natural-looking restorations that match the patient’s smile and facial features.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout all laboratory procedures.
• Operate and maintain dental mills, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any issues.
• Perform ceramics staining and glazing, including applying pink tissue on full arch hybrids for natural aesthetics.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to lab safety protocols.

• Stay current with advancements in dental materials, CAD/CAM systems, and ceramic techniques to continually improve craftsmanship and efficiency.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

Experience with Miyo stains for enhanced customization and finishing.

• Proven laboratory experience in dental fabrication with a strong focus on ceramic restorations.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining dental mills.
• Proficiency in ceramics staining and glazing techniques, with specific experience handling pink tissue on full arch hybrids.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CDT) are a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging, and dental terminology essential for precise fabrication.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems (Computer-Aided Design/Manufacturing) used in modern dental labs.
• Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques specific to dental laboratories.
• Experience working within a dental office environment or alongside dental professionals is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret clinical instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and medical documentation practices.
