Position Summary
We are seeking an Account Manager to promote and sell our industrial services to a wide range of potential clients. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying client needs, and providing tailored industrial solutions. Success in this position will be measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets while effectively representing our brand and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage relationships with existing and new clients across diverse industries
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market reach
- Perform site visits to obtain project details to create a detailed scope of work
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions that meet client needs
- Identify target markets, develop strategies to engage new clients, and craft proposals that showcase the company's offerings
- Schedule meetings, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business
- Ensure contracts meet both company profitability goals and client expectation
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and deepen client relationships
- Generate regular reports to track sales progress and communicate findings to the sales team
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, a related field or, equivalent industry experience
- Proven track record of success in sales with 3+ years of experience in a sales role or a related field such as industrial equipment, technical sales, industrial construction services, or industrial services
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally (75-85%)
- Experience in industrial services, machinery moving, construction, or related fields is a plus
- Background in crane sales or estimation, operation, or rigging is highly desirable
