Plumbing & HVAC Estimator (Custom Home Construction)
Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems | Traverse City, MI
Full-Time | $80,000-$150,000+ per year

Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems is seeking an experienced Plumbing & HVAC Estimator to support our growing custom home construction division in northwest Michigan. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented mechanical estimating professional who understands residential new construction, can accurately interpret blueprints and specifications, and thrives in building strong relationships with builders and developers. You'll play a critical role in pricing, designing, and helping deliver high-end custom plumbing and HVAC systems for some of the region's most prestigious residential projects. Key Responsibilities
Review custom home plans, blueprints, and builder specifications to develop accurate plumbing and HVAC estimates, prepare competitive bids, design efficient ductwork layouts within code requirements, identify value engineering opportunities, collaborate closely with builders and internal teams, manage builder relationships, and ensure seamless project handoff from estimating to operations.

Qualifications
Experience estimating plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems, preferably in custom residential construction; strong blueprint and specification reading ability; proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating software; ductwork design knowledge; excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail; relationship-building ability; and a self-motivated, ownership-driven mindset.
