Supervisor, Accounts Receivable

• Collections and Dispute Resolution: Proactively contact customers regarding past-due invoices, resolve complex payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

• Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs) like Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency gains, recommend and implement process improvements (such as automation), and help design and enforce internal controls and policies (e.g., SOX compliance).
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, billing, and accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of AR processes and balances.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is often required, or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit &Collections, preferably in automotive manufacturing

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and experience with ERP systems like SAP, AS400, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The base pay for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
