The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Oversee inventory planning and control to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while supporting production schedules.
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams to accurately forecast demand and align supply plans.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans for business continuity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced supply chain planning software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) or warehouse management system (WMS) implementations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain analytics.
• International sourcing and logistics experience, particularly with global manufacturing partners.
