Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize value.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to optimize material flow and minimize stockouts.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and commodity prices to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, components, and MRO sourcing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience in process optimization.
• Experience with international sourcing, import/export regulations, and global logistics.
• Proficiency with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and forecasting.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience leading complex supply chain initiatives.
