Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, network systems, and operational technology (OT) to ensure continuous production.
• Oversee cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and production systems.
• Lead IT helpdesk and technical support for both administrative and factory floor personnel, ensuring rapid issue resolution.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with manufacturing goals, including automation, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and process optimization.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for hardware, software, and specialized manufacturing applications.
• Ensure robust data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place for all critical IT and OT systems.
• Manage the IT budget, procurement, and asset lifecycle to optimize costs and support operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT operations and teams, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and operational technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs).
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management principles.
• Demonstrated project management skills for IT system implementations and upgrades.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and their integration in manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments (e.g., SCADA, PLC, MES).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (IoT, AI/ML for manufacturing, digital twin).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proven ability to leverage IT solutions to optimize production processes or supply chain efficiency.
