DDS/DMD Details

• Full Time Schedules

• 8 hour shifts available

• Monday Friday Schedule

• No weekends

• Contract Position

DDS/DMD Duties

• Provide incarcerated individuals with dental screening/treatment

• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth gums and related oral structures

• Perform exams, utilize diagnostic procedures and instruments

• Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth, design and build crowns, bridges and other oral structures

• Prescribe medications

• Plan programs of exams and treatments

• Provide clinical supervision of dental assistant and other staff assigned to the clinic, document services provided.

DDS/DMD Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution

• Licensed as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing

• 1+ years of relevant Dentist (DDS or DMD) experience
