We are currently seeking a Azure API Architect - Auto Finance - HYBRID to join our team in Detroit, Michigan (US-MI), United States (US).

The Azure API Architect leads the design, governance, and delivery of high-performance, secure API solutions. Serving as the primary technical interface between stakeholders and offshore teams, you will define API strategies and ensure seamless enterprise-grade integrations on Microsoft Azure.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• API Architecture: Design RESTful and event-driven architectures using APIM, Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus. Define standards for versioning, caching, and lifecycle management.
• Security & Governance: Implement robust security frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD/Entra ID). Establish governance policies for rate limiting, compliance, and data privacy.
• Cloud Integration: Architect hybrid and multi-cloud integrations, leveraging Event Grid and Event Hubs for asynchronous messaging.
• Technical Leadership: Translate business needs into technical blueprints. Provide architectural oversight and code reviews for offshore delivery teams.
• DevOps & Monitoring: Drive CI/CD excellence via Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions and ensure observability through Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years an Azure Architect
• 12+ years experience in the below required skills:
• Technical Core: Expert-level Azure APIM, Azure Functions, and Microservices. Deep knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger and REST standards.
• Integration Patterns: Proven track record with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and event-driven systems.
• High-impact communication for stakeholder management and experience leading onshore–offshore delivery models.

• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 3+ Years Experience in regulated industries

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with AKS (Kubernetes) and API monetization strategies.

Location – Detroit (Preferred), Atlanta Dallas, Houston - ONSITE 3 Days a week
