Executive Director

Are you a proven leader with a passion for driving growth, developing strong teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care? We’re seeking an Executive Director to lead one of our hospice branches and play a key role in shaping the future of our organization.

This is a dynamic leadership role where you’ll oversee day-to-day branch operations, partner with sales to grow market share, manage budgets, and hold your team accountable for delivering excellence in both care and results.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide overall management, direction, and growth of assigned hospice branch(es).
• Lead clinical, administrative, and business development teams, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant patient care that meets state, federal, and local regulations.
• Oversee financial performance, including census growth, budget adherence, and KPI achievement.
• Participate in budget development, monthly P&L analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business development partners to identify and execute growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, facilities, and community leaders.
• Engage in strategic planning, market review, and census development initiatives.
• Serve as the branch’s operational leader, ensuring compliance, staff development, and effective resource allocation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business or related field). Master’s/MBA/MHA preferred.
• 3+ years of senior management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (hospice, hospital, nursing facility, or related).
• Knowledge of hospice operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, analyzing operational metrics, and driving results.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams and hold them accountable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred.
