Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Ruby on Rails applications for the healthcare industry.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-friendly and effective solutions.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
- Mentor and support junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting team growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation within the team.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Must be located in the United States of America and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with verified U.S. government issued ID.
- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Hotwire , JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
- Knowledge of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL .
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
