- Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior).
- Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.
- Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.
- Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
- Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Drivers License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following:
- Law enforcement
- Military service
- Employment with a licensed security agency - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must not have any felony convictions
- Must be mentally and emotionally fit to perform security duties
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court order
- Must have no outstanding warrants
- Must be willing to have fingerprints taken
- Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.
- Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.
- Experience with security technology and reporting systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Officers must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and follow all safety protocols. Benefits
