Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

$34.54 per hour

We are hiring for one of our trusted clients seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities and prior automotive manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems

• Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks

• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a live production environment

• Conduct quality checks to ensure equipment meets production standards

• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and support teams to minimize downtime

• Complete required training in compliance with company and customer standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Automotive manufacturing experience required

• Experience as a Millwright, Electrician, or Machine Repair Technician preferred

• Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor is a plus

• Automotive sheet metal stamping experience preferred

• Experience with large transfer and progressive dies is a plus

• Working knowledge of PLC systems

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 1:45 PM – 9:45 PM

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
