Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Oversee environmental programs including waste management, air emissions, and water quality.
• Lead the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through regular audits and inspections.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for EHS process optimization.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or extensive experience leading large-scale EHS initiatives.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to support a diverse workforce.
