This is a full-time on-site role for a Criminal Defense Lawyer based in Southfield, MI. The role involves representing clients in criminal cases, preparing legal filings, conducting legal research, and developing defense strategies. The lawyer will also handle negotiations, analyze laws, and represent clients in court proceedings to ensure their rights are protected.
Qualifications
- Legal research and legal writing skills to draft compelling arguments and documents
- Strong oral and written advocacy skills for representing clients effectively in court
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate xrczosw with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage case files and meet deadlines
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Michigan
- Trial experience and knowledge of Michigan criminal laws and court procedures are preferred
Salary
$75,000 to $115,000 annually
