Diagnostic Sales Specialist

The Diagnostic Sales Representative is responsible for driving adoption and utilization of a laboratory diagnostic test across targeted accounts while driving growth through strategic business development. This role identifies and engages key decisionmakers across targeted Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Primary Care practices, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to expand product adoption and utilization. The specialist will build strong awareness of the company’s diagnostic solutions and partnership services, cultivate new users, and ensure a streamlined experience for providers.
The successful Diagnostic Sales Representative will:
- Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on increasing diagnostic test adoption and utilization
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the territory
- Build, strengthen, and sustain strategic relationships with key healthcare providers and decisionmakers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support account conversion, retention, and long‑term partnership success
- Analyze available data to develop specific territory plans including business analysis and growth strategies
- Deliver impactful presentations to clinical, operational, and executive‑level audiences
- Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging trends to inform account planning and positioning
- Contribute to team performance by sharing insights, best practices, and supporting broader organizational initiatives
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years’ experience with medical diagnostic or related medical device experience
- GI Experience Required with established relationships with the target territory with HCPs
- Experience managing high-value accounts through high-touch partnerships with customers with complex reimbursement or related logistical considerations.
- Experience with a launch product or diagnostic preferred
- Track record of sales success and ability to manage all aspects of sales process
