Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A maternity leave coverage opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics and school-based therapy. This contract position is based in the Hudsonville, MI area, serving elementary-aged students across two schoolsone public and one private.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to approximately 50 students in grades K-2, addressing both special education and general education needs.
• Provide direct therapy in a dedicated space, working on-site during the contract period.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with school staff to support students individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Participate in team meetings and complete indirect administrative duties as required.
• Assume regular SLP duties during the maternity leave from the start of the school year through Thanksgiving Break, with the possibility of contract extension.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
• Ability to support both special education and general education students.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families.

Position Details:

• Location: Elementary Schools, Hudsonville, MI vicinity.
• Contract Duration: August to end of November, with potential for extension.
• Hours: Ideally full-time.
• Caseload Size: Approximately 50 students, grades K-2.
• Role: Maternity leave coverage with in-person presence at assigned schools.
