Legal Department Manager (Grand Rapids)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Department Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and performance across the departments. This role is critical in driving process improvements, managing resources, and supporting the firm’s strategic growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership and Staff Management: Skilled in supervising teams, setting goals, coaching performance, and handling staffing needs.
- Administrative and Operational Coordination: Strong in organizing daily workflows, managing schedules, maintaining compliance, preparing operational reports, and researching KPIs.
- Communication: Excellent at addressing inquiries, resolving complex issues, and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Process Improvement and Compliance: Ability to implement procedures, monitor quality, ensure data security, and drive continuous improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 10 years of total experience
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience in performance tracking tools.
