Position Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions): Responsible for the administration and support of all functions built within the Salesforce software product including the verification and resolution of all data imports. The Salesforce Administrator serves as a support contact for users who may need assistance with and/or data from the system. The Salesforce Administrator will aid in maintenance, configuration, reporting, user support tickets, monitoring adoption, and training. Duties may include:
  • Under direction from leader, or more senior administrator, provide technical & functional support for Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Field Service including:
    • System modifications relative to business change and user need
    • Resolution of technical application issues
    • Help desk assistance direct to the end user community & potentially through line of business teams
    • Support of the transition of data to Salesforce
    • Delivery of data analytics (reporting, dashboards, etc.) in support of business functions
  • Work with business owners on requirements gathering and approval
  • Develop, maintain, and constantly improve a reusable repository of tools, templates, best practices, and methodologies to manage the execution of solutions and initiatives being deployed on the Salesforce/Force.com platform.
  • Adequately communicate with external vendor technical support to resolve system issues
  • Provide On-Call Support
  • Supervisory Responsibilities (briefly describe, if applicable, or indicate None): none II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify) Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
    • BS/BA degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Experience:
    • Understanding of CRM sales, service & community fundamentals for accounts, contacts, opportunities and cases including custom fields
    • Understanding of Salesforce roles, profiles, field level security and permission sets
    • Advanced usage of Excel and the Salesforce data loader
    Knowledge and Skills:
    • Understanding of Salesforce fundamentals including sharing and security
    • Understanding of Salesforce Lightning, VisualForce and the Apex language
    • User, Role and Profile management with understanding of Role hierarchies
    • Ability to process data and datasets using data import wizard and data loader
    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to research and interpret technical documentation such as release manuals and install guides
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of users, managers and executives
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments with minimal direction
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
    • Ability to assimilate information provided in various mediums (written, oral, diagram or schedule) and utilize to make sound systems/business decisions
    III. Preferred Qualifications
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator strongly preferred
    • Advanced Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred

    IV. FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
