Quality Auditor
Quality Auditor
Location: Ionia, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $18–$20/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final product inspections
- Conduct layered process audits and quality checks on production lines
- Read and interpret blueprints, control plans, and work instructions
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges
- Document inspection results and complete quality reports accurately
- Identify non-conforming materials and follow containment procedures
- Communicate quality concerns to production and leadership teams
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection or auditing experience in manufacturing
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- High school diploma or GED required
