Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of children by supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position is based on-site at two elementary schools, with a .6 FTE assignment at one and a .4 FTE assignment at another, covering the academic period from August 25 to June 11, 2027. Located just north of Detroit, this opportunity offers an engaging environment focused on pediatric and school-based care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current MI licensure required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
• Skilled in SLP assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-aged children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned elementary school students
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
• Implement evidence-based practices and individualized interventions within a school setting
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff collaborations as needed
• Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment
