FASTOOL Inc. is a small, but growing family-owned business that specializes in retailing construction and industrial tools, fasteners and supplies to local contractors, online at FastoolNow.com and other marketplaces. Fastool Inc. is in search of an above-average individual to fill the role of Shipping & Receiving Clerk . A successful candidate will have 1-2 years of shipping & receiving experience, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifying products to be shipped against packing slip
• Pack items securely to ensure safe delivery
• Verify method of delivery and identify best method for carriers on outgoing items
• Use computer to generate shipment paperwork for both domestic and international shipments
• Receive and unload incoming shipments and verifies accurate count of received products
• Receive returns and notify appropriate customer service person
• Assisting other personnel as needed

• Strong computer skills
• Effective attention to detail and organizational skills
• Forklift experience
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Dependable and arrives to work on time

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, feel or handle; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is required to sit, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb stairs and step ladders.
• The employee must frequently lift and move up to 25-30 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50-70 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION:

• High School Education or equivalent required

POSITION TYPE / HOURS:

• This position is part-time, approximately 24 hours per week. Regular hours are Monday–Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional opportunities or requests for additional hours to cover vacations and seasonal workload..
• This is not a remote position.
