CT/Radiologic Technologist Travel Job – South Bend, Indiana

CT/Rad Tech Job Details – South Bend, IN

• Location: South Bend, Indiana 46601
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (potential to extend)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2450 - $2510
• Call Requirements: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend; 5 late days per month
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• Floating: May float to Interventional Radiology (IR) or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Scrub Color: Light blue (provided)
• Charting System: Cerner

CT/Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT/Rad Tech; 2 years preferred
• Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Valid Indiana state radiologic technologist license (or compact); pending accepted if active by start date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Travel healthcare experience preferred, but first-time travelers welcome
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start training modules

CT/Rad Tech Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cath Lab, including hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker insertions, and vascular interventions
• Assist with STEMI, electrophysiology (EP) ablations, pacemaker (PM) implants, coil embolization, and other advanced imaging procedures
• Obtain and interpret vital signs and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Start IVs, perform phlebotomy, and assist with specialized equipment such as rotablader
• Provide care for inpatient and outpatient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Participate in on-call and late day rotations as scheduled
• Float to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals as needed based on census
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold sterile technique at all times
